This
section of the site is designed for the use of our junior members, to show
what’s on offer with the Gardeners Arms Angling Club permit. The Gardeners Arms Angling Club junior membership not only offer an opportunity to fish our waters, it offers much, much more. During the last few years, the club have held regular teach-ins in the school holidays for the junior members of our club, we also got a chance to take part in the national fishing week, which brought us a great response from the junior members and from juniors who had never fished before. Due to this response in interest we have now in place a full summer league match calendar which will take place on our own waters, and we also want to arrange an away-day for them, to fish on other waters. The junior match calendar dates and times are listed below, the teach-ins and away days will be added at a later date as and when we have them confirmed.
Junior Matches 2009 May 9th June 13th July 11th August 8th September 12th (away day T.B.A) All matches are on the Mill Pool unless otherwise stated. For
match times please see your club card. Check Out The League Table For Up To Date Junior League Results and Positions The league will be decided on a point for weight basis. In the event of a tie total weight will decide. The junior secretary is Martin who can be contacted by e-mail or by phone on the number in the back of your club card, he will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have or if you need advise on matches or other events for the junior members. The junior activities are open to all junior members from a beginner, or we can help you learn and advance your fishing ability. The club is very committed to our junior members and we will continue to support guide and teach the juniors all aspects of our much-loved sport throughout the year.
